For Arsenal fans, Thierry Henry is not simply their finest striker, their record goalscorer and the man who led them to glory many times over.

In their eyes, Henry is basically God.

For proof of this mythical status, just take a look at the clip above. When most Arsenal fans meet the Frenchman, they get starstruck, giddy and weak at the knees.

But when other famous, high-profile stars meet him? That must be different, right? If an NFL star – himself used to dealing with adoring fans – met his favourite Arsenal player, he wouldn’t crumple into a giggling mess… would he?

Apparently, he would. The video shows Miami Dolphins running back Jay Ajayi being interviewed by Sky Sports at their studios. Clearly, someone there knew Ajayi is a MASSIVE Arsenal fan – because in walks Henry to surprise him.

Like any good Gooner, an expected appearance from (arguably) Arsenal’s greatest ever player is just all too much.

Even as a American sports star who has presumably met all sorts of A-list celebrities, Henry’s mere presence reduces him to mush.

Proof, if proof were needed, that TH14 is more than just a man for Arsenal supporters…
