Hailee Steinfeld posts new photos ahead of Bills quarterback Josh Allen’s matchup on Thursday Night Football.
The Buffalo Bills (1-0) are looking to stay undefeated in Week 2 after taking down the Arizona Cardinals 34-28 in their season opener. However, their AFC East rival, the Miami Dolphins (1-0), have the exact same goal.
Unfortunately for Miami, Bills quarterback Josh Allen seems to have the Dolphins’ number. Allen has a 11-2 career record against Miami, including the playoffs, while Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is 1-6 against Buffalo. Allen also has an impressive 4-0 career record when playing on Thursday Night Football.
Numerous Bills players’ wives and partners traveled down to Miami for the highly-anticipated divisional showdown, and fans are hoping to catch a glimpse of Allen’s girlfriend, Hailee Steinfeld. Hours before kickoff on September 12, Steinfeld shared new carousel of photos on Instagram, which immediately turned heads since she rarely posts on social media.
The Oscar-nominated actress captioned the post, “Bonjour, New York ✨an evening celebrating #BoucheronInAmerica 🤎,” which quickly racked up over 100,000 likes.
Steinfeld’s photos are from Boucheron’s party at the Cooper Hewitt museum in Manhattan on Tuesday, celebrating the jewelry brand’s first store opening in New York. Other celebrities in attendance included Gwenyth Paltrow, Colman Domingo, and Cole Sprouse.
Steinfeld, 27, who attended nearly every Bills game last season, missed Buffalo’s last matchup against Miami, a pivotal Week 18 showdown. During the 21-14 victory, Buffalo clinched the No. 2 seed in the playoffs while Miami fell to the sixth seed.
However, Steinfeld had a very good reason for missing Allen’s last regular-season matchup. The “Hawkeye” star was presenting at the 81st annual Golden Globes in Los Angles on that same night. While walking the red carpet at the Beverly Hilton on January 7, she publicly commented on her relationship with the Bills star for the first time.
E! News correspondent Keltie Knight asked Steinfeld, “What is it about a sportsy man?” to which she replied, “Listen, what isn’t it about? Come on, now.”
