Ouch! Buffalo Bills Fans Take Pre-Game Ritual Too Far with Flaming Table

A group of Buffalo Bills supporters were seen bizarrely jumping onto a table of fire before their New Year’s Eve game against the New England Patriots.

In a clip which is circulating on social media, three Bills fans can be seen standing on the trunk of a car before one of them leaps backwards onto the blazing table.

Panic then strikes as the man in question discovers he has set himself on fire, forcing him to jump to the ground and roll around in the grass to put out the flames.

A fan watching nearby then pulls the table back up for the two other supporters to jump onto it, only for one of them to collide feet first and move it out of the way – causing the other to miss it completely.

And to cap the unusual pre-game ritual, the onlooking fan then jumps on the table himself once the flames have gone out, before losing his footing and falling straight onto his back.

Users were left divided over the video on X – formerly Twitter – with some left in stitches at the absurdity of it.

One wrote: ‘I love my hometown,’ before adding after two laughing emojis: ‘Illogical all in the name of fun’.

While another joked: ‘Stop drop and roll man. that’s being on fire 101’.

Others were less impressed, with one saying: ‘They aren’t the smartest bunch over there’.

Another put: ‘As a fellow [Bills] Mafia member. I don’t condone such stupidity’.

The Bills are currently taking on the Patriots knowing that a win in their penultimate regular-season fixture should be enough to secure a playoff berth.

They got off to the worst start imaginable in Buffalo, however, when Jalen Reagor scored a sensational 98-year kickoff return touchdown to get New England off to a flyer.

Reagor took the catch on the two-yard line and blazed through the middle of the field, helped by a block from Patriots teammate Matthew Slater, before bouncing off kicker Tyler Bass and having a free run to the end zone.

Pat McAfee led the praise for Reagor, tweeting ‘SHOT OUT OF A CANNON’ in response to the incredible clip as it went viral on X.

And the calling of announcer Kevin Harlan didn’t go unnoticed by fans, either.

‘Gets by the kicker, he’s gonna go! It’s a footrace with Bass,’ Harlan called, his voice lighting up as he sees the field open up in front of Reagor.
